The core membership of the above was formed in the 1960’s. In 1985 we formed the drama section at the club with the initial aim of performing a pantomime for the SEB’s workers’ family Christmas party and this continued for several years. Over the next ten years we performed a full length children’s’ panto every year and in 1994 introduced a variety cabaret type show, which has proved very popular. We entered the Ferndown Drama Festival Competition every year until it was discontinued and won numerous cups over the years.

Our main output these days is an adult cabaret show, which is performed approximately 8 times during the winter months. This is a collection of sketches, songs and dances with the accent on laughter and fun.
We serve a ploughman’s supper as part of the ticket price, which makes it a very social evening.

The proceeds from 2 of the nights are put towards financing the next show and the other 6 shows are all taken by various charities. Over the last 5 years we have raised approximately £20,000 with the proceeds from these shows.

We meet every Tuesday at the club 8pm all year round. During the summer we meet to discuss ideas and practice for the next show.
